AX3's Quest to ISA Seattle: Documentary

AX3's Quest to ISA Seattle: Documentary
Tweet: clicktotweet.com Share on Facebook: on.fb.me In the Summer of 2011, AX3 sent ten members down to Seattle to document the International Secret Agents (ISA) Concert. This was the first time ISA would expand into the Northwest. The sold-out concert had appearances from Ryan "Nigahiga" Higa, Kevin "KevJumba" Wu, Cathy Nguyen, I.AM.ME Crew, David Choi, New Heights, Clara C, and Victor Kim. The documentary we filmed along the way shows the AX3 team's quest to ISA Seattle. Everything from the morning meeting at McDonalds, to getting lost in the city, to finally meeting the stars that we previously only saw on YouTube. Watch as Matthew Tse elaborates on the influence of WongFu, Far East Movement, and YouTube entertainers have on the Asian community. The AX3 team also explores the best attractions Seattle has to offer during our stay. Time And Love - Diana Ross & Jean Terrell (Cinnamon remix duet)

Time And Love - Diana Ross & Jean Terrell (Cinnamon remix duet)
NOTE: I did a new upload because I realized I had uploaded the mix that wasn't the final mix.) If you don't know the history, supposedly... Berry Gordy watched the massive success The 5th Dimension had in 1969 (rivaling The Supremes and The Temptations as the most successful Black crossover group on the charts), and decided perhaps their producer Bones Howe would do well working with the crossover-oriented Diana Ross for her highly-anticipated solo debut album. He cut 6 tracks on Ross (only 4 of which received vocals, according to Taraborelli's 'Diana Ross: A Biography'), one of which was the glorious Laura Nyro composition "Time And Love". Motown tentatively titled Ross' official solo debut LP after this song. But then Motown decided to have Ashford & Simpson produce this important LP, and the Howe tracks were shelved (until 2002!) Ironically, Barbra Streisand would record both "Stoney End" and "Time And Love" later in 1970, taking the songs to #6 and #51 respectively on th! e Billboard Hot 100. When The Supremes (now led by the lovely Jean Terrell) were recording their "Touch" LP in 1971, Terrell recorded her own vocals over Ross' discarded backing track. Now in 2012, you can hear what these Supreme ladies' lilting yet powerful voices sound like together through my virtual duet, achieved with selective blending (and a 'hardcore fan trivia' element or two!)
